In a typical drum corps season, the Madison Scouts will travel close to 15,000 miles while touring and performing across the United States. The corps has a traveling caravan of 4 buses, 2 tractor trailers and one volunteer support vehicle and trailer. Needless to say, this fleet takes money to maintain and money to fuel.
You contributions to the Fuel-a-Thon not only assists in the operational budget of the Madison Scouts, but also serve as fund raising component for the membership.
